  • Led product design for a residential construction-management app for Heirloom Builders: the concept, the user flows and a home build’s daily updates, milestones and task checklists in one place.

Product, innovation & immersive experiences

  • Introduced clients to emerging technology through visual design, motion and spatial planning, first at the Chicago Ignition Center Garage, then helping evolve it into the Living Labs in KPMG’s flagship Ignition centers.
  • Turned ideas from client Ignition sessions into rapid product prototypes that helped build the business case for new workstreams.
  • Designed and built interactive UI components and prototypes for the Living Labs with AI coding tools, adapting interaction patterns for immersive 32:9 screens, large wall displays and kiosks.
  • Designed and prototyped a university hospital’s mobile AI knowledge assistant that helps practitioners understand community health risks, shaping its guidance with subject-matter experts and partnering with technology teams on the AI integration (2024).
  • Designed and built proposal websites for partner-led pursuit teams, an alternative to slide decks that showed what each team could do (2024–2026), and turned long-form thought leadership into scroll-driven sites.
  • Created a future-healthcare video and prototypes for an academic health system, shown at the Lake Nona Impact Forum’s Innovation Showcase (2021).
  • Led design and build of an internal website for a team at a global search leader, within its own technology stack (2022), and adapted a regional bank’s customer portal within its brand standards and UX patterns, delivering production assets (2020).

Experience Design Lead · KPMG Advisory

UX, product design & client delivery

  • Turned complex requirements into visual design and interactive prototypes for enterprise products in healthcare, financial services, energy and mobility.
  • Created a patient-access prototype that unified disparate systems into one interface for service representatives and helped secure stakeholder backing for a major workstream (2017).
  • Redesigned CMLA, a commercial mortgage lending application using IBM Watson for loan ratings, with KPMG Audit and IBM’s cognitive team: contributed to its design system and prototyped workflows that account for uncertainty in AI-assisted decisions (2017).
  • Led UX/UI for an energy company’s decision-framework application within its design system, clarifying complex resource and planning workflows with a strategy lead and industry experts (2018–2019).
  • Led design of a ServiceNow employee-services application with KPMG’s US and UK teams, simplifying how employees find company services and tools; the prototype was shown at ServiceNow’s Knowledge 2019 conference.
  • Led UX/UI design and prototyping for an NBA game-scheduling tool, turning complex requirements into a clear product concept that helped win the flagship design-and-build engagement (2014–2015).

  • 2014Four-month rotation as design lead helping establish KPMG UK’s digital enablement team: recruited and evaluated candidates, set up design frameworks and trained the new team in experience design.

  • Led UX/UI for Trane’s iPad guided-selling app from a mid-project handoff through delivery, streamlining the HVAC sales process; the project reported a 22% revenue increase and a 2% margin improvement (2011–2012).
  • Designed the interface and visual language for a defense communications company’s specialist network-planning software, organizing dense topology data for expert users and working with engineering through implementation.
  • Designed enterprise and consumer interfaces across HVAC, patient records, medical devices, oil and gas, network planning and league scheduling.
