About · Strategy meets craft

Hard problems. Beautifully simple.

Low drama, high standards, and a teammate you can count on.

  1. I obsess over how
    it works and feels.

I start with the people using it: their goals, their workflows, where they get stuck. Then I sweat every detail of layout, type, interaction, and motion until it’s clear, intuitive, and genuinely delightful to use.

  2. Design that doesn’t
    stop at the screen.

Physical products, spaces, enterprise software, and consumer apps, and the experiences that mix all of them.

  3. Proven with
    Fortune 500 teams.

Twenty years in design, fifteen of them solving problems for Fortune 500 companies and clients across finance, healthcare, energy, and more.

A connected practice

Each experience informs the next.

Explore my experience
  1. Aqualocka · Arc-Zone · Cynergy 2005–2014

    Where it started.

Before software, I designed and sold a surf product of my own. Arc-Zone gave me my foundation in storytelling, across video, web, and print, and at Cynergy I carried both into complex software.

  2. KPMG advisory & XDE 2014–2019

    Big clients, real products.

At KPMG, I learned to move between business goals, client conversations, and the details a team needs to build. In XDE, that became shipped products for healthcare decision support, patient access, commercial lending, sports scheduling, and network planning platforms, made clear through prototypes.

  3. KPMG Ignition & Living Labs 2019–2026

Take the experience beyond the screen.

KPMG Ignition is the firm’s innovation center, and Living Labs are its immersive client spaces, where leaders come to see emerging technology at work. I helped build out and develop the early concept, from the Garage in Chicago to what became Living Labs, bringing interaction, motion, and spatial design together in workshops, large screens, and room-scale experiences. I turned long reads, proposals, and future visions into stories people could watch, scroll, and step into.

  4. An evolving practice 2025–now

    Keep expanding what’s possible.

I learn new tools through hands-on experimentation, then put them to work: faster prototypes, stronger craft, and ideas I couldn’t have made before.

What inspires me.

01Where I recharge

Nature

I recharge outdoors, in the water, in the mountains, anywhere beautiful. Time in places like that clears my head, and I come back with fresh eyes for the work.

02What I’m tracking

AI & the singularity

I’m fascinated by how fast AI is changing what one person can make. I follow the research closely and put new tools to work as they land.

03What changed how I think

Bitcoin

It’s a remarkably simple, elegant design: money that anyone can hold and send, with no one in charge, and power kept in check by the rules everyone shares.

04What’s on my radar

Emerging tech

I keep a close eye on what’s coming: new devices, new interfaces, new ways of making things. I read the research, follow the people building it, and try what I can as soon as it’s out.

05What keeps me looking up

Space

I still stop to watch every launch. It’s vision made real: a bold idea, pursued until it flies.

06What gets me up in the morning

Purpose

I want to build something great with a team at the top of its game: work that reaches people, makes a real difference, and that we’re all proud of.
